If you are arranging getting married in Siena next year or this year in
June like my friend, we think you’ve made a fabulous venue choice. We suggest that you book the service (in
the town hall) through a wedding planner, but you need not engage him or her to do much more than that for
you.
There is a lot you can organize yourselves and with cheap flights available throughout Europs, many people
can go to Siena beforehand to arrange a restaurant for the reception. It is after all a great excuse for soaking up
the ambience of the lovely city for an additional enjoyable and relaxing weekend!
For those readers that have not yet been to see it, Siena is a medieval city of brick, packed with unspoilt charm
and lovely old buildings steeped in history. From a terrific spot like the top of the Mangia Tower its sea of roof
tiles blends into a landscape of steep, twisting stone alleys; and further away is the backdrop of the charming
fields vineyards and olive groves of the Tuscan countryside with its softness and rolling hills.
This cityscape hides dozens of Gothic palaces; plus pastry shops
galore(!), unseen neighborhood rivalries (which culminate in the annual palio (horse race) around the square)
and altarpieces of unsurpassed beauty. Through the Middle Ages Siena flourished artistically; for two
centuries (13th and 14th) the Sienese school, represented by Duccio da Boninsegna, Simone Martini and the
Lorenzetti brothers, rivaled the Florentine masters as the most important in Italy.
The Chianti region is the quintessence of Tuscany. I have to tell you it has the most incredibly beautiful
countryside, vineyards, olive groves and forests and they all add to its ambiance. The signature of this area is
the sight of all those tall, slender cypress trees which dominate the landscape crowning the hilltops as you wide
through the sleepy rural roads.
Visiting the country and strolling through it means entering the world of
the famous Chianti wines, such as Vernaccia of San Gimignano and Brunello di Montalcino. The vineyards
alternate with silvery-gray olive groves, where much of the finest extra-virgin olive oil in Italy is
produced. Look out for the fields of saffron. This is a highly prized spice more precious and costly than
gold, which are abundant in this Region.

Another wedding location to search for in Google is the Villa Isabella. Originally built in the 1400s, Villa
Isabella was expanded to its present configuration in the 18th century and renovated in 1997. Surrounded by twenty
eight acres of lush olive groves and gardens, the main villa measures 1,500 square meters and succeeds winningly in
combining tradition with modern comfort - just right for your wedding stay.
Posarelli Villas also offer accommodation as well as a beautiful wedding location on a rental basis in
Siena.

Weddings are important and require a myriad of
decisions to be made ahead of time. There are no specifically right or wrong turns to take when it comes to
planning and going through with your wedding. However, research can prove to be useful in helping you set in stone
the decisions you feel are right for you. The tips below are there to help point you on the right path to your
happily ever after.
If you desire a summer theme wedding, try having it in a natural place. The beauty of outside
spaces that would otherwise be unsuitable can become fabulous places for a wedding. Some of these popular venues
can include, gardens and beaches. These unusual places can help inspire your theme. You can even have a BBQ.
Instead of having rice thrown at your wedding, you may want to consider getting confetti instead.
Rice is messy and can get caught in undesirable places on your body. Also, rice is more expensive and more
difficult to clean up. You can buy confetti at any discount or party store.
Most weddings are planned to fall on the weekend. If you are looking to save money, consider having
your wedding during the week. Venues and hotels have higher prices during the weekend since that is when most
people want those things. Switching to a weekday could save you a decent amount of money.
Do not plan a destination wedding without taking the legal requirements of your location into
account. Whether it is residency requirements, fees, or any other red tape - you should have all your needs
addressed - before you begin the task of booking hotels and services for the big day.
It is important to make the right decisions that you won't regret making later. Planning
your wedding is entirely personal and the decisions differ from individual to individual. Therefore, there are no
right or wrong decisions. Apply the tips from the article above to help you feel that your wedding was a success
with no regrets.
